Back to Nature?

After nearly three days without communication to the outside world, our dish is now talking to the satellite. We're not sure what the problem was, maybe just a little out of line. Since we're like gypsies we have to set up the dish where ever we park. Do gypsies have internet? This is all so strange because I just started reading Fatu-Hiva by Thor Heyerdahl, his first book describing how at 22 he and his 20 years old bride went to live on a primitice Marquesa island living strictly according to nature.

  1. Nice to have you bak, Karin. Yes, gypsies have internet. Here in Portugal, and Spain, there are large communities of gypsies, many already settled. But the errant ones, going around on donkeys, as I see them here, carry laptops, believe it or not. We stopped at a lovely area near Coimbra, and decided to walk on the fields, and there, under a tree, was a group of gypsies, with their donkeys munching nearby, and one of them was typing away on his laptop. He told me they carry a portable satellite dish which allows them to connect.

  2. I should find out who the gypsy's server is! We've had trouble all day connecting to our satellite and finally just a few minutes ago after much frustration it did.
